About Me

During my 6 year sales career I have assisted clients with 162 real estate transactions consisting of 526 multi-family units and over 200,000 square feet of retail investment property. In 2012 I earned the industry's most respected and coveted commercial real estate designation when I became a Certified Commercial Investment Member. An investor myself, I own and manage 44 single-family homes and 30 multi-family units. 

I am currently spearheading the redevelopment of the historic Masonic Temple in downtown Waterloo. This project will re-purpose the top two floors of the 5-story, 50,000 square foot brick building to include 11 loft style apartments. The $1,500,000 project will utilize an array of tax credits including those for historic preservation, the Enterprise Zone Program, Brownfield credit, as well as tax increment financing. I serve as the project coordinator and hold 50% ownership. 

I grew up in Winterset, Iowa, a small community located twenty minutes outside of Des Moines. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2007 and I have called the Cedar Valley my home ever since. I live in Waterloo with my wife Morgan, two sons Eli and Henry, and daughter Irene. Outside of real estate I enjoy spending time with my family, motorcycling, kickboxing, film and cinematography production, and following UNI athletics.
